The website forms

Three forms let you write to us: contact, product request and supplier offer.

Data processed: name, e-mail address, message; depending on the form, company, country, website, product categories, business terms and requested products (name, EAN, quantity). We also attach the language and the page the message was sent from.
Purpose: replying to your message, making an offer and, if an order or partnership follows, managing it. We do not use this data for marketing, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
Retention: as long as needed to handle your request, then at most three years after our last exchange. Accounting documents (invoices) are kept for ten years, as required by law.
No automatic acknowledgement: we reply to you directly from our mailbox.

How your messages reach us

The form is sent to a server function hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which immediately e-mails it through OVHcloud mail servers (France) to our mailbox, hosted by Google. These providers act as processors; transfers outside the European Union are covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

To limit abuse, the sender’s IP address is used briefly at the time of sending; it is not included in the message and we do not keep it. Like any hosting provider, Vercel Inc. records technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) to keep the service secure.

“My request”: storage in your browser

Products you add to “My request” are remembered in your browser (local storage), so the list follows you from page to page. This is not a tracking cookie: the list is only sent to us if you submit the form, and you can empty it at any time by removing the products or clearing this website’s data in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing or receive it in a portable format, and you can object to its processing. Write to us at contact@lavitrinetrade.fr: we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the authority of your own country.
